Internal Doors...

Most internal doors will be fitted with a retractable latch, however, some internal doors may be lockable. To help with lock identification, make a note of any markings on the door end-plate (where the latches stick out the door).

External Doors..

To help with lock identification, make a note of any markings on the door end-plate (where the latches stick out the door). This will also tell you whether your lock meets the required insurance standard BS3621 or CE1121 (kite marked).

PVCu (plastic) Doors

We are Lincolnshires premier PVCu Door locksmith and Window locksmith.

Typical faults found:

• When the door is closed, difficulty in lifting door handles.
• Normal operation when door is open.
• Door difficult to operate over a period of time, then suddenly becomes easy to operate.
• Normal operation of system, but the locking of the cylinder is difficult either outside, inside or both.
• Door will lock, but cannot remove key from the lock.
